An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and hard working person to join the team of Technical Aides (stores) to provide support to the Operating Theatre team!
About the Role
Formed in 1882, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. It remains one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities.
This position requires the Aide to provide clear, concise and accurate information to Nursing Unit Managers and Nursing staff in regards to stores, supplies and instrument tray inventory to allow the service to function in an efficient manner.
- Has the ability to adapt to a fast paced dynamic work environment.
- Possesses basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology, including surgical procedures and instruments.
- Has an appropriate degree of physical fitness to perform all aspects of the position.
- Has the ability to work a 7 day rotating roster, including evenings and weekends.
