About the Opportunity
Are you a seasoned physiotherapy professional with a wealth of experience in falls prevention and a diverse clinical background?

We are currently seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to join our team, bringing extensive clinical knowledge in falls prevention to the forefront. Your role will involve providing comprehensive physiotherapy assessment and intervention for patients with complex clinical presentations, drawing upon your broad range of experience, including provision of physiotherapy in the emergency department and community/home settings.

In addition to managing and coordinating a varied clinical caseload, you'll lead supervision, education, and training initiatives for our physiotherapy staff, ensuring the highest standards of care. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to drive service development efforts aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our physiotherapy services within the clinical specialty. What You'll be Doing
This position is responsible for providing high quality physiotherapy services. This includes service development and evaluation and advanced reasoning and clinical practice skills in the management of clients of a novel or complex nature. This position is responsible for the supervision, teaching and training of Level 1/2 Physiotherapists, AHAs and students.

  1. Relevant clinical experience including demonstrated advanced practice skills and management of a complex physiotherapy caseload.
  2. Demonstrated experience in supervision and teaching of staff and/or students.
  3. Demonstrated commitment to professional development and evidence based practice.
  4. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in quality improvement, research and service development activities.
  5. Demonstrated effective interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  7. Extensive clinical knowledge in falls prevention, particularly in providing physiotherapy assessment and intervention for patients with complex clinical presentations, with a broad range of clinical experience including provision of Physiotherapy in the emergency department and community/home visiting.
  8. Must possess a valid Australian Drivers Licence (excluding learner driver's licences). If not already in possession, a NSW Drivers Licence must be obtained within 3 months of appointment.
