Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital is an acute hospital that supports a population of approximately 80,000 and is the only ANZAC Memorial hospital remaining in NSW. An exciting opportunity exists to join the Blue Mountains Hospital Physiotherapy team in a Temporary Part time role until August 2025.

This position will provide cover where required across the acute wards and inpatient rehabilitation unit at BMDAMH.
This role is responsible for ensuring the provision of the highest quality Physiotherapy services to patients of NBMLHD. 

Your role will consist of maintaining timely and accurate medical records to satisfy medico-legal requirements. ensure timely and accurate completion of patient discharge summaries, patient transfer summaries and patient handovers, ensure patient follow up for non-attendance occurs in a timely manner and ensure timely and accurate entry of caseload statistics on the Cerner Allied Health system.

What you will bring to the role

  1. Degree in Physiotherapy and National Physiotherapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
  2. Demonstrated ability to provide high quality clinical services across a broad range of clinical areas
  3. Demonstrated effective written & verbal communication skills
  4. Demonstrated effective time management skills
  5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  6. Demonstrated commitment to professional development and demonstrated knowledge of & experience with Quality Improvement & Evidence Based practice
  7. Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel
