Manager Health Records - Release of Information

Remuneration: $53.53 - $61.16 per hour plus superannuation

What you'll be doing
This role is responsible for the management of staff within the Release of Information section of Health Records and includes planning, reviewing, evaluating, and implementing changes in regards to policy and procedure to achieve organisational outcomes and meet legislative requirements.
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified for this position following suitable labour market testing.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management and/or relevant equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated high level analytical and problem solving skills in relation to medicolegal matters, including the ability to provide authoritative advice and recommendations across a large and complex organisation
- Demonstrated effective time management and ability to prioritise and meet conflicting deadlines
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of legislation and policies relevant to release of information and health record management
- Proven ability to implement strategies to ensure efficient and effective service by planning; reviewing; evaluating and implementing change to achieve organisational outcomes
- Proven experience in leading a team and ability to manage performance
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management and other key stakeholders, including the ability to negotiate; influence and communicate effectively
