About the role:
The responsibilities of this position include patient care as requested, transporting of patients to ward, imaging and other parts of the Hospital when required by wheelchair or beds. Coupled with this you will be part of a team for de-escalation procedures of aggressive situations and for safety of patients and staff. You will receive training and education support required to fulfil the needs of this position.


About you:
The successful applicant will hold a valid security licence and demonstrated ability to handle difficult situations with patients with aggression coupled with your ability to stay calm and de-escalate situations. You are a team player, have a strong ability to communicate with a diverse range of people and are adaptable to changes at short notice without hesitation. You must have:

  • Class 1A security licence under the Security Industry Act, 1997
  • Ability to work shift work.
