Data Asset Manager
- Postgraduate qualification in data management, or relevant tertiary qualification/s and/or extensive data management experience, with demonstrated ability to manage large data collections within a health care environment or similarly complex organisation.
- High level skills in data management, validation, analysis, and interpretation including expert skills associated with developing and using large databases and programming, including the ability to manipulate and integrate datasets, and analyse linked data from multiple sources.
- Knowledge of communicable diseases (particularly vaccine-preventable diseases) and immunisation desirable.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, Access or similar.
- Advanced skills in statistical computer packages (e.g., SAS, R, STATA)
- Ability to understand and adhere strictly to principles of confidentiality and to ensure the integrity, reliability, and accuracy of data and data systems.
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work in a multidisciplinary team with the demonstrated ability to consult and negotiate with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing education and professional development.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course (2 doses) of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
