Essential Criteria:
Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria:
- Minimum five (5) years full time equivalent post registration experience in speciality field in Mental Health
- Post registration nursing/midwifery qualifications in Mental Health/ Child & Adolescent
- Demonstrated high level clinical experience in the provision of mental health service delivery working in collaboration with children and youth (and their families) with acute and moderate to severe mental health issues and/or related high complex needs. This would include all aspects of assessment, acute therapeutic intervention strategies and care coordination to ensure smooth transitions of care
- Demonstrated experience and ability to initiate, lead and evaluate evidence-based clinical practice development and Quality Improvement Programmes
- Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) and advanced computer literacy and information technology skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and develop/ maintain professional relationships and networks across multiple disciplines
- Current valid NSW drivers licence and willing to use for work purposes.
