The Quality Assurance and Data Analyst is responsible for developing reports, analysing and carrying out quality assurance activities to ensure enterprise solutions for NSW Health are ready for Production deployment for the State Operational Data Store (ODS) Program Team within the Ministry of Health.


The
Health Manager level 3, starting salary from $127,150 - $144,444 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 38-hour work week.


What you will do
 

  • Develop and consistently execute testing strategies using appropriate and available technical infrastructure
  • Develop and execute detailed data and functional test cases and/or artifacts by analysing requirements, use cases and functional specifications (including but not limited to integration, functional, data pipeline, basic backend, performance, and device test).
  • Engage relevant stakeholders and address / escalate risks to ensure test strategy is executed within budget and timeframe.
  • Document issues, defects and inconsistencies in a ticketing system and ensure they are appropriately resolved in a timely manner.
  • Support in the development, maintenance, compliance, and monitor quality assurance governance and framework.


About you:


We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health to:
 

  • Validate and test developed solutions both in the context of detailed data analysis and functional testing to ensure the in-scope application, dashboard and/or report are ready for Production deployment and handover to eHealth and LHDs.
  • Develop reports built using various data sources utilized within NSW Health. This includes the interpretation of result output using statistical techniques.
  • Perform quality assurance and data cleansing related activities which include but not limited to application functionality testing, integration testing, data quality monitoring and rectification, backend logic validation, data integration validation.
  • Perform functional, integration and backend test based on developed solutions to ensure the in-scope applications are ready for Production deployment and handover to eHealth and the LHDs. This includes testing applications across multiple devices and browsers.
  • Develop and execute master test plan or detailed data and functional test cases by analysing requirements, use cases and functional specifications.
