About the role:

The Project Support Officer undertakes a range of operational and high-level administrative activities to support and co-ordinate the delivery of projects across the InforMH team. The role assists the Senior Manager and InforMH Executive Team and contributes to the achievement of strategic and operational objectives. If you are interested in project management, collaborative teamwork, and health service improvement this is a great role for you. It is also a role that will provide strong foundations for someone wanting to grow their knowledge and experience in these areas.

 

Health Manager level 1, starting salary from $84,436 - $112,331 plus Super, with a 38-hour work week.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide a range of program/project and operational/administrative support activities.
  • Assist the Senior Manager, Executive and broader InforMH team to complete tasks and implement project plans to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved.
  • Monitor, track and report on the status of project deliverables to ensure time, cost and quality metrics are in line with approved project plans for assigned projects.
  • Maintain register of compliance with endorsed project management methodology, tools, processes, procedures and other relevant organisational policies for audit purposes.
  • Contribute to the development of project plans under the guidance of a Program/Project Manager.

 

About you:

 

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with: 

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role in a healthcare environment.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience in project support / project management.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills including the ability to prioritise and meet strict deadlines.
  • Capacity to work effectively and co-operatively within a team environment and to work autonomously without supervision.
  • High level written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to prepare and review written documents including correspondence, briefs, reports and presentations.
