Principal Advisor, Mental Health Nursing

Selection Criteria

1. Currently registered as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
2. Appropriate postgraduate qualifications and/or broad experience in mental health nursing in NSW.
3. Demonstrated understanding of the issues and challenges for mental health service provision in NSW and proven experience in delivering effective innovation
4. Demonstrated high level policy analysis and evaluation skills and the ability to provide advice and recommendations on both strategic and operational issues relating to mental health.
5. Proven ability to contribute to and influence emerging trends within mental health.
6. Demonstrated high level communication and negotiation skills and the capacity to engage with staff at all levels.
7. Demonstrated understanding of consumer and carer issues and advocacy in mental health care.
8. Evidence of strong skills in project and program management.
