Health Information Manager

1. Tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management or equivalent experience.
2. Substantial knowledge and skills in the clinical classification of diseases using the International Classification of Diseases, 10th Revision, Australian Modification (ICD-10-AM).
3. Knowledge and understanding of NSW legislation, policies and procedures that relate to handling of personal health information.
4. Demonstrated experience in the interpretation of clinical information, and the ability to recognise discrepancies and recognise what further information is required.
5. Substantial knowledge of the NSW hospital admitted patient collections and a broad knowledge of the NSW Health system.
6. Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritise workload.
7. Good written and verbal communication skills.
