Enterics & Zoonoses Manager

1. Postgraduate qualifications in public health or related discipline.
2. Expertise and practical experience in epidemiological methods including disease surveillance and study design, database management and analysis.
3. Extensive experience in the management of disease outbreaks.
4. Ability to self-direct, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
5. High level conceptual and analytical skills, and ability to interpret complex information rapidly and accurately.
6. Capacity to lead and engender enthusiasm in a multi-disciplinary team to delegate effectively and to contribute to the success of others.
7. High level written and oral communication skills, demonstrated ability to prepare, review and edit correspondence, briefings, reports, papers and proposals, to interact effectively with management and external stakeholders and to make effective live presentations.
8. Extensive experience in policy development and review.
