Engagement Officer, Stakeholder Engagement and Clinical Variation, Activity Based Management

1. Tertiary qualifications relevant to the role or demonstrated equivalent experience.
2. Demonstrated understanding of the NSW Health funding model, NSW and Commonwealth health systems and health data systems used in NSW, particularly those relating to patient care and costing.
3. Ability to analyse data to identify clinical variation and to guide policy development.
4. Project management skills with the ability to understand a wide range of complex and clinically technical projects and issues.
5. Stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to successfully communicate complex and sensitive issues to stakeholders of varying levels.
6. Demonstrated understanding of activity based management, activity based funding, activity based costing, benchmarking and health care classifications.
7. Ability to clearly articular and deliver modern and innovative presentations.
