About the role:

The primary purpose is to develop, implement and maintain a compliant records and information management program in accordance with legislative and policy requirements, including the planning, development and management of innovative corporate recordkeeping systems and solutions for NSW Health agencies. This also includes developing, implementing and maintaining corporate record management procedures and policies, ongoing support and training.

 

Health Manager level 3, starting salary from $127,150- $144,444 plus Super, with a 38 hour work week.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Develop and maintain an efficient and effective records management framework to underpin agency compliance with the State Records Act 1998. This will include relevant components such as Records Management Plan, Policy, Procedures & Guidelines, Technology Roadmap, Corporate Electronic Document and Record Management System (EDRMS), Directorate and Business Line Records Management Plans
  • Establish and liaise with health agency stakeholders to ensure an effective support process is available and maintained to resolve records issues for users.
  • Liaison, consultations, and negotiations with all levels of management to provide accurate advice, consultancy, and audits on records and information management issues.
  • Proactively market and promote records and information services and solutions that meet the customer environment through promoting a performance based, innovative, responsive and accountable customer focused work culture.
  • Interpret, monitor and evaluate records standards, procedures and policies relating to records and information management.


About you:

 

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with: 

 

  • Extensive experience in corporate records and information management in a large and complex/diverse service industry organisation, including relevant qualifications or equivalent. This includes strong knowledge and practical experience in working with State Records Act and associated standards.
  • Capacity and willingness, including current NSW driver's license, to travel to HealthShare NSW business and service locations throughout NSW, which may include overnight stay in regional / remote areas
