About the role:

This role will see you
provide assistance with the reprocessing of reusable medical devices from the operating theatres and other hospital unit/departments.


To help you thrive in this role, you will receive support and orientation from the Central Sterilisation Department Supervisor. Educational opportunities are also available and highly encouraged.

Tamworth Hospital is a major Rural Referral Hospital providing services to the North-West area of NSW. In July 2015, we opened the doors to a new $220 million acute services redevelopment; equipped with 348 treatment spaces; we conduct over 8000 surgical procedures per annum over five theatre spaces.

About You:

This role would suit either a skilled Sterilisation Technician, or someone keen to learn through our extensive on job training.
