John Hunter Children’s Hospital is seeking a dedicated Staff Specialist Adolescent Physician to join our Trans and Gender Diverse Services team. In this role, you will provide clinical care to patients of the HNELHD Paediatric Gender Services and contribute to the support and ongoing development of adolescent health services at John Hunter Children’s Hospital.
What we are looking for:
- Eligible for specialist registration with AHPRA in General Paediatrics and/or Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine (or working towards this, with FRACP already obtained)
- Comprehensive understanding of, or willingness to acquire, understanding of gender affirming care and the priorities for young people who are Trans and Gender Diverse and their families
- Ability to provide on-call roster support for General Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine department of John Hunter Children’s Hospital
