Where you’ll be working:
Join a dedicated and collaborative multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care for older Australians. As part of the Aged Care Services team, you’ll work alongside a Nurse Unit Manager, Allied Health professionals, Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP) staff, Aged Care Assessors, and Psychogeriatric specialists.
You’ll also have the support of another Speech Pathologist based at Wingham Community Hospital, helping you feel connected and supported in your clinical work.
About the role:
As a Speech Pathologist in our Aged Care Service, you will provide comprehensive assessments, personalised treatments, and client-centred interventions aimed at enhancing independence, participation, and quality of life.
You’ll deliver care across multiple clinical areas in both hospital and community settings, working to ensure positive health outcomes and seamless transitions of care.
This role offers strong professional support, including direct guidance from the Service Manager of the Aged Care Services team and access to ongoing online and external training opportunities to help grow your expertise.
About you:

- Has extensive clinical experience relevant to aged care and rehabilitation
- Demonstrates excellent time management and organisational skills
- Is flexible, open to feedback, and committed to continuous professional development
- Thrives both independently and as a contributing member of a multidisciplinary team
Requirements:
- Recognised qualification in Speech Pathology
- Eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- Demonstrated experience in delivering speech pathology services in aged care or a related clinical field

* Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position or the agreed duration of your contract. All payments to part-time and contract employees will be made on a pro-rata basis in accordance with the terms of your contract, including any approved extensions. Please note: if your contract ends before the agreed completion date, you may be required to repay a portion of the incentive.
