About the role:

This senior leadership role is perfect for a motivated and experienced pharmacy technician ready to take the next step. You’ll be responsible for supervising pharmacy technical staff, optimising daily workflows, and maintaining the smooth operation of one or more of our key technical service areas – dispensary, supply, purchasing, production, or training.

Working collaboratively with other senior technicians and department leaders, you’ll also play a critical role in shaping and improving our training and competency programs. Your work will directly contribute to safe and effective medication management for patients across our hospital and the wider district.



About you:

You’re a confident, skilled pharmacy technician who brings:

  • A Certificate IV in Hospital or Health Services Pharmacy Support (essential)
  • A qualification in Training and Assessment (highly regarded but not essential)
  • A strong understanding of public hospital pharmacy operations
  • Great attention to detail and commitment to safe, high-quality work
  • Experience in pharmaceutical stock control and medication safety
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • A passion for professional development, both for yourself and others
  • Adaptability, initiative, and a positive attitude toward change
