Remuneration: $72,285.58 - $73,940.16 p.a + Superannuation + Salary Packaging

Join our Workforce Operations team where no two days are the same. Our team is supportive, respectful and looking for someone with a genuine interest in Human Resources, Rostering and Payroll. Whilst this is an initial 12-month contract, there will be potential for extension or a permanent appointment for the right candidate.
About the Position:
As a Rostering Support Officer, you will undertake a range of support services to enable the Rostering Team to achieve its objectives in a timely, reliable, and efficient manner. A large component of your role will include the creation and analysis of complex reports to ensure staff rosters, leave and pay are accurate and within contract and award requirements. In addition, you will provide accurate and consistent advice for line managers and other staff as required in relation to policy and Awards, and electronic systems and processes. This is a great opportunity for career progression within the team.
About the Team:
The Rostering Support department provides assistance to managers across the district to ensure staff are rostered efficiently and effectively and in alignment with Award requirements. The high performing team is focused on quality improvement and works hard to ensure excellence is consistently at the forefront of service delivery. The team is dynamic and really enjoy the work they do.
- You could be studying HR, Finance, or Business and seeking practical experience in the People & Culture field within a large organisation that offers limitless opportunities and career growth.
- You are a highly skilled Administration Officer who has excellent attention to detail and is passionate about providing support to managers across the district to ensure all our employees are rostered efficiently and effectively.
- You have experience in payroll processing and award interpretation.
- You have a data focused and analytical mindset, where you love to investigate and problem solve information, and provide meaningful insights to management.
