We’re looking for an enthusiastic Administration Officer Level 2 to join our Oral Health Support Unit, providing essential administrative support to the Resource Officer (AO Level 4) and the broader oral health team.

Renumeration: $32.30 - $33.37 per hour + Superannuation + Salary Packaging

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the delivery of vital public dental services across the region, working alongside a highly committed team within NSW Health.

About the Role

This district-wide support role plays a key part in ensuring our oral health clinics are resourced effectively and efficiently to meet the growing needs of our patients.

As an AO Level 2, you will work closely with the AO Level 4 Resource Officer to assist with:

  • Providing administrative support for the rostering of over 250 clinical and administrative staff across 22 dental clinics
  • Assisting with shift creation and publishing using HealthRoster
  • Supporting coordination of unplanned leave backfilling, rural rotations, extended hours clinics, and GA session rostering
  • Managing leave tracking, ADO allocations, and education release requests
  • Responding to StaffLink, payroll, and general leave inquiries
  • Supporting travel and accommodation bookings and helping administer the Oral Health Fee for Service Scheme
  • Maintaining accurate records, updating internal systems, and communicating with clinical teams to support day-to-day operations

This is a great opportunity to build skills in workforce coordination while supporting a vital public health service. This position is full time; however, part time/job share arrangements may also be considered.

This role is ideal for someone with previous administration experience, especially within healthcare or a high-volume scheduling environment.
