About the role:
 

We are seeking experienced and passionate Instrument, Circulating, Anaesthetic, and PACU Nurses to join our Perioperative Unit. This role involves providing safe and efficient care across three operating rooms, one procedure room, and the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). 

The successful applicant will be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team and will receive support from a full-time Clinical Nurse Educator (Monday to Friday), as well as guidance from the Nursing Leadership team, including Managers, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and Senior Clinical Registered Nurses. Ongoing education and orientation to the hospital and department will be provided, with supernumerary provisions available if needed. We are looking for individuals dedicated to delivering the highest quality care to every patient.


Where you’ll be working:

Taree, located on the banks of the Manning River, is a vibrant town that serves as the heart of the Manning Valley, offering easy access to the region’s stunning national parks and beautiful beaches along the Barrington Coast. Situated just two hours north of Newcastle and one hour south of Port Macquarie, Taree is perfectly positioned for those looking to explore some of New South Wales’ most picturesque landscapes.

The hospital provides elective surgery across various specialties, including ophthalmology, general, orthopaedic, gynaecological, obstetric, urological, dental, and endoscopic procedures, Monday through Friday, with 24-hour emergency cover available seven days a week. The role involves working a seven-day rotating roster, with the ability to be on call overnight as required.
