The Outpatient Department at Armidale Rural Referral Hospital is a small, cohesive, and highly dedicated unit providing a wide range of services to communities across the New England Tablelands. About the role:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Department. In this role, you’ll deliver safe, person-centred care to a diverse group of patients across multiple clinics, working in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Your day-to-day will involve supporting patients and their families or carers to achieve health goals, advocating for their needs, and ensuring they are empowered to make informed healthcare decisions. You’ll also contribute to the smooth operation of clinics across the department, delivering efficient and compassionate care to the Tablelands community.
About you:
You’re a dedicated and adaptable nurse who values cultural safety and compassionate care. You will bring:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional approach to conflict resolution
- Ability to deliver evidence-based, individualised care aligned with best practice in outpatient settings
- Willingness to work across a variety of clinic areas and support a dynamic team

- Passion for delivering culturally respectful care, including supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients
Requirements:

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
