The Clark Centre is an 8 bed specialised unit to cater for the needs of people with mental ill health. Admissions to this unit are of a voluntary basis. The inpatient nursing team work closely with the NUM of the unit, the medical staff, allied health representatives, consumer consultant and the community mental health team in order to make use of the broad clinical team and provide a seamless transition of care for our clients. The Registered Nurse in Clark Centre is viewed as a leader and is responsible for the support and supervision of EN’s, EEN’s, Nursing Graduate RN’s and Nursing Undergraduate students. 

The successful applicant will provide high quality nursing care using the Recovery Model and best practice principles as part of the collaborative partnership with clients, family, carers, the multidisciplinary team, and other key stakeholders. The successful applicant will hold our CORE values in high regard: Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment.

To be eligible for employment in these roles you must be: an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or a citizen of another country with an appropriate visa that allows you to work in Australia.
