About the role:

We currently have openings for Registered Nurses with prior experience in Emergency Departments. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build and advance a rewarding career in emergency nursing. You will have the chance to apply your post-basic qualifications in emergency nursing or critical care, while also being encouraged to pursue further studies and professional development as you work towards obtaining additional relevant qualifications.

About you:

You are a Registered Nurse with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA and a keen interest in emergency nursing. Your sound communication skills, both written and verbal, see you effectively communicating with patients, their carers and families, and other stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds. Your naturally compassionate and caring nature led you into a nursing carer and is at the core of everything you do. You love working in a varied, challenging and fast paced role where you learn and develop your skills every day, through both on the job experience and further study. You appreciate strong values of committed teamwork and seek to join a high performing team.

Just over an hours' drive north of Sydney, Belmont is situated on the beautiful lake and beaches of Lake Macquarie. The area is renowned for its water sports and nearby famous Hunter Valley Vineyards.

Requirements:

Our successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Demonstrated Emergency Department experience (and/or post graduate qualifications in Emergency Nursing/Critical Care would be highly regarded)
