re you a compassionate and patient-focused Registered Nurse ready to make a real difference? Taree Pharmacotherapy is looking for a dedicated nurse to join our close-knit team in delivering high-quality outpatient opioid treatment services.


About the Service and Team

Located on the Manning Base Hospital Campus, Taree Pharmacotherapy provides essential opioid treatment services to the Lower Mid North Coast community. The immediate team includes five experienced Registered Nurses, a committed administration officer, and an engaged clinical manager. You'll also be supported by a wider multidisciplinary network of Clinical Nurse Specialists, Nurse Educators, Clinical Nurse Consultants, medical officers, and Aboriginal Health Workers.

About the Role

This is not your average nursing role. A typical day involves:
 

  • Administering opioid treatment medications 

  • Supporting and educating patients on their treatment journey 

  • Coordinating and facilitating clinical and prescriber reviews 

  • Collaborating with a diverse care team 

  • Referring patients to support and allied services

* Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position or the agreed duration of your contract. All payments to part-time and contract employees will be made on a pro-rata basis in accordance with the terms of your contract, including any approved extensions.
