About the role:

As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide comprehensive case management for existing clients while conducting assessments for new clients to determine their eligibility for treatment. 

Your responsibilities will include traveling to locations such as Inverell and Narrabri to extend services to the broader community.

Additionally, you will actively engage in Clinical Supervision, ensuring professional growth and adherence to best practices. Managing Telehealth appointments with Staff Specialists will also be a key component, leveraging technology to deliver seamless and accessible care.

In this role, you will be thoroughly supported through a comprehensive orientation program to ensure a seamless transition into your responsibilities.

As part of the Drug and Alcohol services team, you will have access to regular monthly education sessions, guided by a dedicated Clinical Nurse Educator and a Clinical Nurse Consultant assigned to the Northern area. Collaborating with a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS1), you will work within a highly skilled and supportive environment.

You will have opportunities for ongoing education and professional development to refine your expertise and will participate in monthly Clinical Supervision to promote reflective practice and continued growth.

Requirements:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Eligible to drive in NSW and ability to undertake work responsibilities out of normal work hours with a willingness to travel when required.
