About the Role:
With the expansion of imaging service hours at Armidale Rural Referral Hospital, we are seeking a motivated and skilled Radiographer to join our dedicated team. This is a full-time, temporary position for two years, with a strong likelihood of transitioning to a permanent role after this period.
As a member of our rural hospital team, you will bring strong communication skills, a friendly and approachable demeanor, and a dedication to delivering positive patient outcomes. Success in this role will also rely on your ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. New employees will receive a comprehensive orientation and opportunities to further develop their skills. Ongoing in-house education is provided and supported, ensuring continued professional growth.
About the Imaging Department:
The Armidale Hospital imaging team serves inpatient, emergency, and outpatient needs using general radiography, CT, and ultrasound. With expanded hours from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily and on-call services, you’ll encounter a diverse caseload, including trauma imaging. Key skills include CT imaging expertise and the ability to train and guide other radiographers. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential to delivering excellent patient outcomes.
