Location: John Hunter Hospital

The Ophthalmology Service comprises of roughly 10 consultants, with two Registrars (1 SET trainee in 2020) and one Junior Medical Officer.

The service utilises operating facilities on 3 sites (John Hunter Hospital, Kurri Kurri Hospital and Belmont District Hospital) with all Outpatient activity based at John Hunter Hospital, with clinics running daily.

This is a new position and there is a Paediatric and Neonatal component to this role, which involves servicing the NICU and the John Hunter Children’s Hospital.

An eligibility list will be created for future temporary part time vacancies.
