What you'll be doing:
The Nurse Manager - Greater Metropolitan Health Services, Hunter New England Imaging (HNEI) is responsible for the management and delivery of operational nursing services within a multidisciplinary health team to achieve quality patient outcomes, sustainable access and collaboration in health care components of the services through established internal and external collaborative partnerships across the following Hunter New England Imaging locations:
  • John Hunter Hospital
  • The Maitland Hospital
  • Belmont District Hospital
  • Calvary Mater Newcastle Hospital
  • BreastScreen NSW Hunter New England (Waratah)
  • BreastScreen NSW Hunter New England (Tamworth)
Location: 
Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital is a tertiary referral hospital, teaching hospital and community hospital featuring fifteen operating theatres, 550 adult beds and 101 paediatric beds. With the busiest ED in the state, major trauma centre for Northern NSW and delivering services to people of all ages from birth, to childhood and adulthood.

Newcastle is Australia’s 7th largest city and only 160km's north of Sydney. Located at the heart of the Hunter Region, Newcastle is bordered by a stunning coastline of beautiful beaches. Easily accessible by air with several flights departing daily from Newcastle Airport, as well as a range of rail, coach and local transport services available, make getting to and around Newcastle highly accessible. 

To be eligible for employment in these roles you must be: an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or a citizen of another country with an appropriate visa that allows you to work in Australia.

 

If you currently hold a temporary visa that allows you to live and work in Australia you may only be offered employment in line with the conditions and  expiry date of your visa
