Where you'll be working:
Join the dynamic and forward-thinking New England Northwest Acute Care Team, where your skills in mental health will make a real difference across diverse communities. Our team provides vital intake services and acute mental health care, using a flexible hybrid model that blends face-to-face and telehealth support. This innovative approach allows us to reach people where they are - and gives our clinicians the opportunity to work in a way that suits them.

With site location negotiable across our New England Northwest Mental Health Service sites, this role offers flexibility, meaningful impact, and the chance to be part of a supportive and progressive team dedicated to improving mental health outcomes across the region.

About the role:
We’re offering exciting opportunities to join the New England Northwest Acute Care Team in roles tailored to suit your lifestyle and professional goals. For clinicians seeking stability, multiple positions are available within our Intake stream, offering a permanent Monday to Friday roster - ideal for leaving shift work behind and embracing a consistent workweek. For those interested in a dynamic and varied schedule, we also have a position in our Acute stream, operating on a 7-day rotating roster designed to support work-life balance.

In either stream, you'll play a key role in delivering timely intake assessments, acute care interventions, and outreach support as part of a multidisciplinary team including clinicians, peer workers, and medical staff. Working within a progressive hybrid care model, you'll provide both face-to-face and telehealth support, ensuring access to high-quality mental health care across the region. You’ll also contribute to broader service delivery through inreach support to other NENW Health Services, helping us build stronger, more connected care across our communities.

As a valued member of the team, you’ll be well supported with regular structured clinical supervision, access to ongoing education, and guidance from both your Line Manager and Professional Leads. At NENW Mental Health Services, we’re committed to your professional growth - you’ll have opportunities to participate in internal in-service programs and be actively supported in meeting your continuing professional development (CPD) goals. We’re here to help you thrive, develop, and make a lasting impact.

About you:
We’re looking for a motivated and adaptable professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. You’ll bring strong organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities with confidence. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be key as you build meaningful relationships with consumers, families, and fellow professionals. Collaboration is at the heart of this role - working together to set goals, meet individual needs, and support each person in maintaining their highest possible level of health, wellbeing, and independence.
