About the service:

The Lower Mid North Coast Physiotherapy service is located at the Manning Hospital in Taree and forms part of the Allied Health and Integrated Care portfolio. In collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, patients and their families and carers, the Physiotherapy Service provides high quality services to in-patients and out-patients of the Manning Hospital.

The Lower Mid North Coast Physiotherapy service staff value a strong team approach while collaborating with their acute and community partners and colleagues to provide a high standard of care.

About the position:
As the Physiotherapy Manager, you will lead the Manning Hospital Physiotherapy Services team to provide excellent patient care in order to maximise health outcomes. You will also act as Physiotherapy profession lead for the Lower Mid North Coast Sector.

About you:
The successful candidate will have the ability to manage a service to meet changing demands and lead quality improvement projects across a service utilising recognised quality improvement tools and processes. You will also possess an understanding of the issues related to rural clinical practice in a community setting and the ability to identify & lead change across the service to improve service delivery models and meet identified KPIs. Your high level communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain co-operative professional and therapeutic relationships will be essential to your success in this role.

Requirements:

  • Degree providing eligibility or membership of the relevant professional association/full registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Eligibility to drive in NSW.
