The Allied Health team at Manning Base Hospital is a welcoming and dedicated group of professionals, and we are looking for an experienced dietitian to join our team!
About the role:
You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of dedicated health professionals.
As part of your role, you will:
- Be accountable for the provision of a high level clinical service to provide quality clinical care.
- Plan, implement and evaluate clinical service delivery.
- Manage workforce functions including recruitment, induction, professional development, performance reviews and performance management using the tools, tactics and culture of Excellence.
- Manage the resources of the unit to achieve both budget and service delivery targets whilst maximising service delivery outcomes for patients.
- Manage the maintenance of administrative systems related to the booking, scheduling and recording of patient contact characteristics as required for mandatory reporting and as required by the service.

- Build and maintain co-operative professional and therapeutic relationships.
- Effectively manage and lead a team and redesign clinical services in response to demand and community need.
- Manage human resources and encourage others to build their professional skills, effectively adapt to ongoing change and achieve health service outcomes.
- Provide supervision and to meet the needs of less experienced staff and students.
Requirements:
- Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in nutrition and dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
