Manager, Nutrition and Dietetics

• Be accountable for the provision of a high level clinical service to provide quality clinical care.
• Plan, implement and evaluate clinical service delivery.
• Manage workforce functions including recruitment, induction, professional development, performance reviews and performance management using the tools, tactics and culture of Excellence.
• Manage the resources of the unit to achieve both budget and service delivery targets whilst maximising service delivery outcomes for patients.
• Manage the maintenance of administrative systems related to the booking, scheduling and recording of patient contact characteristics as required for mandatory reporting and as required by the service.

• Build and maintain co-operative professional and therapeutic relationships.
• Effectively manage and lead a team and redesign clinical services in response to demand and community need.
• Manage human resources and encourage others to build their professional skills, effectively adapt to ongoing change and achieve health service outcomes.
• Provide supervision and to meet the needs of less experienced staff and students.

Requirements:

• Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in nutrition and dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
