About the role:
As the ICT Project Officer - Digital Health Facilities, you will play a key role in supporting the ICT Project Lead by coordinating ICT technical infrastructure and systems for both clinical and non-clinical redevelopment projects. You will be responsible for a range of project management and coordination activities, ensuring that deliverables are met within timeframes and that projects stay on track.
In this role, you will:
- Plan, implement, monitor, and report on specific projects to meet organisational goals, maintaining awareness of deadlines and resource constraints.
- Collaborate with the ICT Project Lead – Digital Health Facilities in representing LHD requirements in various ICT initiatives, including the evaluation, selection, acquisition, and deployment of IT infrastructure and systems.
- Provide support by preparing and maintaining project documentation, including briefings, status reports, project updates, and change/risk management plans.
- Manage project coordination tasks such as maintaining risk registers, drafting tender documentation, and assisting with meeting preparations.
- Ensure clear communication with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate successful project outcomes.
- Be available to travel across the district to support the Project Lead in the execution of various tasks and activities as required.
- Support the overall success of the redevelopment projects by working independently under the guidance of the project lead, while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

- Experienced in supporting large-scale ICT projects and have a solid understanding of ICT standards, policies, and procedures.
