Role Breakdown 
We are seeking Health and Security Assistants to join our hospital team – a role that blends frontline patient support with vital safety responsibilities. You will be part of a collaborative team, working alongside experienced staff and buddied up for support and training.

Day to Day:
You'll play a key part in keeping our hospital running smoothly and safely by:
  • Providing Security: Patrol hospital grounds, respond to alarms, manage access control, and offer friendly, helpful customer service.
  • Supporting Patients: Assist with patient transfers and help lift and move patients respectfully and safely.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness: Perform cleaning duties in hospital rooms to the highest standards, following infection control guidelines.


Shifts 

You will be required to work on a rotating roster, with shift times including: 

  • Morning: 6:00am – 2:30pm
  • Afternoon: 2:00pm – 10:30pm
  • Night: 10:30pm – 6:00am

  • Essential: Class 1A Security licence Security Licensed
