About the Role

  • We are seeking an Electrical Tradesperson Level 4 to work within the Mehi Engineering Team, based at Moree.
  • The candidate must be able to demonstrate expertise in electrical equipment maintenance, knowledge of Australian Standards, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • The successful candidate will work in conjunction with other trades during daily maintenance work, new projects and refurbishment of existing buildings.


About You

  • You will be willing to outreach and support other sites within Mehi.
  • We are looking for someone who is willing to participate in on-call roster.
  •  You will be able to work independently, be approachable, be a team player, and work within policy and procedure.

  • Moree is a town in Moree Plains Shire, North West NSW. It is located on the banks of the Mehi River., in the centre of the rich black soil plains.
  • The town is on the junction of the Newell Highway and Gwydir Highways and can be reached daily by train and air services direct to Sydney.
  • Moree is a major Agricultural centre and is home to the famous Artesian Waters, famous for their reputed healing qualities.
  • There is a steady growing population with efficient Hospital and Medical Care facilities, excellent schools and local TAFE making it a must for families and singles.

Requirements

  • Trade qualifications in Electrical and a current NSW electrical licence.

  • An eligibility list will be created for future permanent full or part-time and temporary full or part-time vacancies.
  • This position is full-time; however, part-time/job share arrangements may also be considered.
  • To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport.
