About the Role
Wee Waa Community Hospital is seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to join our team in a rewarding permanent full-time position. In this key role, you’ll provide expert emergency and acute care across both the general ward and emergency department. You will be a clinical leader, mentor, and educator—helping to shape care delivery and support your colleagues.

This is your opportunity to take the lead in a diverse clinical environment, while enjoying 0800–1730 shifts (no overnights) and strong support from the Clinical Nurse Educator and wider rural and regional health network.

About You
You’re a confident and capable clinician with a strong foundation in emergency nursing and a collaborative approach to care. You’re ready to take the next step in your career and share your knowledge with others.

You will:

  • Demonstrate sound clinical judgement and advanced problem-solving
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold professional standards


Requirements

  • Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Relevant post-registration qualification in Emergency Nursing and a minimum of 3 years’ recent experience in an Emergency Department
  • OR such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate
  • Current NSW driver’s licence or ability to drive in NSW
