As a Health and Security Assistant you'll be part of a supportive environment where everyone has each other's back, and teamwork is at the core of everything we do. You'll work under a manager who is approachable, believes in an open-door policy, and leads by example.

You day to day duties will include: 

  • Assist nurses with lifting/moving patients and personal care
  • Perform porting and cleaning duties to ensure comfortable and efficient care
  • Respond to alarms/incidents to maintain a secure hospital environment
  • Ensure a safe environment attending to difficult patients or visitors  

Your Key Skills

  • Demonstrates strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and show initiative when required
  • Communicate effectively, maintain confidentiality, and approach all situations with compassion and professionalism
  • Is reliable, adaptable, and available to work across a 24/7 rotating roster
  • Essential: Current 1A Security Licence and Current First Aid Certificate.
