About the role:
Inverell District Hospital is excited to welcome Enrolled Nurses to work across the varying wards throughout the hospital. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work within the Emergency Department, Inpatient Unit, Surgical Services, Critical Care and Maternity to assist the clinical team with direct patient care. If you are a Enrolled Nurse who is flexible in their working style, a problem solver, and an interest in learning new skills across different wards, we want to hear from you!

You won’t be working alone. You’ll be supported by the Registered Nurses, Clinical Nurse Educators (both in hours and after-hours) and the Nursing Management Team. A thorough orientation will be provided as well. 

As our newest Enrolled Nurse, You Will:

  • Work co-operatively within a team be able to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Showcase your ability to plan, prioritise and organise your workload
  • Feel competent to use a wide variety of software and computer programs
  • Be able to interpret patient needs and have sound decision making skills
  • Have sound clinical and non-clinical skills, good customer service, and telephone etiquette.

Inverell Hospital is a busy Rural District Hospital. Departments within the hospital include the Emergency Department, Renal Dialysis Unit, In-Patient Unit, Maternity and Surgical Services. Students in Nursing, Assistants in Nursing, Enrolled Nurses, Registered Nurses and Midwives all form part of our dynamic workforce
