Join our team as our Administration Officer and provide essential administrative support!
About the role:
Our Casual Administration Officer is responsible for the efficient and effective provision of administrative/clerical services to the clients and staff within GNLH-ICS across all locations.
In this role you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Provide consistent, high-quality customer service as the first point of contact for telephone, email, and in-person enquiries.
- Respond to general reception enquiries, answer incoming calls, and ensure accurate message transfer to support patients and staff.
- Provide secretariat support for meetings, including agenda and minutes preparation, room bookings, and organising video/teleconference facilities.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with staff at all levels to achieve outcomes.
- Implement and maintain an organised, up-to-date filing system to meet privacy and confidentiality obligations.
- Ensure accuracy in completing, recording, and filing all related paperwork.
- Prioritise workload effectively and perform duties responsibly.
Where you’ll be working:
- Working as part of Greater Newcastle Lower Hunter – Integrated Care Services (GNLH-ICS). GNLH-ICS has services located across seven sites throughout Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, and Port Stephens local geographical areas. GNLH-ICS comprises an extensive range of generalist and specialised home-based and centre-based clinical Community Health Services, providing services primarily for adults across six major Community Health Centre sites at Newcastle, Raymond Terrace, Toronto, Wallsend, Nelson Bay, and Windale.

About you:
- You will have clear communication skills, strong customer service, time management and organisational skills, sound skills in IT, and an eye for detail and accuracy.
- You are available to do shifts from Monday to Friday and be committed to work shifts at all locations within GNLH-ICS, sometimes at short notice.
