About the Role:
Cessnock District Hospital is a 36-bed facility delivering essential medical services to the local community, including emergency, surgical, and general care. They are seeking proactive and dedicated Enrolled Nurses to join their close-knit, supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for healthcare professionals passionate about community-based care, offering the chance to make a meaningful difference in a dynamic and welcoming environment.
As an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) working across the medical and surgical wards, you will provide individualised, high-quality patient care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will play a key role in supporting positive health outcomes while contributing to a collaborative and caring team environment.
About You:
You will bring -

Certificate III Assistant in Nursing or currently enrolled in an undergraduate Registered Nursing degree (completion of first year and first semester or trimester of second year), or currently enrolled in a TAFE NSW Diplomas of Nursing (completion of identified foundational units in practice AND 120 hours of clinical placement).
- Recent experience working within a hospital setting, delivering patient care in a multidisciplinary team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-first approach.

The ability to work collaboratively within a team.

A proactive attitude and a willingness to contribute to continuous improvement.
