We are seeking a motivated and reliable 1st Year Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the electrical industry.  As an apprentice, you will work under the supervision of experienced electricians, gaining hands-on experience and learning the trade.

$26,085 - $51,794 p.a. + Superannuation + Salary Packaging

Responsibilities
  • Assist electricians in installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
  • Attending training sessions and complete coursework.


Requirements

  • Completion of year 10 as a minimum with demonstrated competencies in Math and English and an aptitude for mechanical and technical tasks relating to the electrical trade.
  • Must possess good manual dexterity and an ability to use the tools of the Electrical trade as well as having excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer skills.
  • Have a demonstrated ability to take and follow precise instruction from their supervisors, this requires the ability to listen carefully and communicate effectively and have the ability to work within a team.
  • Have an enthusiasm to learn the Electrical trade, new skills and be formally trained through Department of Technical and Further Education (TAFE) in Certificate III in Electro-technology Electrician.
  • Completion of a pre-apprenticeship course, undertaking studies at a trade college or work experience in this discipline would be an advantage.
