Where you'll be working
This position is based in Tamworth and provides operational management of Drug & Alcohol Clinical Services and staff in a range of sites across the Northern Sectors of the Hunter New England Local Health District.

What you'll be doing
Responsible for the day-to-day operational management of Drug & Alcohol Clinical Services (DACS) within the Northern sector including Clinical Leadership, Opiate Treatment Program and Psychosocial Services (counselling, MERIT, SUPPS and Harm Minimisation).

In consultation with the Manager, DACS and the Clinical Leader, Opiate Treatment Program this position is responsible for strategic development, implementation and evaluation of DACS in the Northern sector as per their scope of practice. 

To be eligible for employment in these roles you must be: an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or a citizen of another country with an appropriate visa that allows you to work in Australia.

 

If you currently hold a temporary visa that allows you to live and work in Australia you may only be offered employment in line with the conditions and  expiry date of your visa
