At Manning Mental Health Service, you’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team delivering acute outpatient care across the Lower Mid North Coast. We provide timely consultation, assessment, treatment, and follow-up support to adults and their families, with a strong focus on recovery and continuity of care. Our service plays a key role in helping consumers transition from hospital to home, offering medication monitoring, psychoeducation, relapse prevention, and coordinated support with local services. As part of the Acute Care Team, you’ll work across a dynamic 7-day rotating roster—where every day brings meaningful impact.

About you:
We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Mental Health Professional who brings both clinical expertise and a collaborative spirit to our team. You’ll be someone who values person-centred care and is committed to supporting consumers and their families through their mental health recovery journey. Your ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, combined with strong interpersonal skills and a trauma-informed approach, will be essential in providing high-quality care that’s both compassionate and effective.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of contemporary mental health service delivery, including intake, shared care models, and family-inclusive practice. You’ll be confident in navigating complex situations, building positive therapeutic relationships, and communicating effectively with a range of stakeholders. In return, you’ll be supported by experienced senior leaders, our Manning Service Manager, and a dedicated team who are all committed to professional growth, collaboration, and delivering outstanding care to the community.

You’ll be welcomed with a comprehensive Mental Health Service Orientation and ongoing in-service support to help you thrive in your role. Requirements:
  • Must hold a qualification in one of the following: Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, which provides eligibility or membership of the relevant professional association / provisional or general registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Eligibility to drive in NSW and interstate and the willingness to travel in the course of employment.
