Essential Requirements

  1. Appropriate qualifications and senior level experience in communication, government relations, community relations, journalism or similar.

  2. Demonstrated relevant experience in developing, managing and implementing effective media and corporate communications strategies.

  3. Demonstrated experience managing sensitive and contentious issues

  4. Established networks with local media outlets.

  5. High level written and digital communication skills.

  6. Ability to work to tight and competing deadlines and under pressure.

This role is temporary full time for a period of two years and will be based in the Hunter New England region.
