About the opportunity

Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where strategic communication and engagement drives success? As the Director of Communications and Engagement at Health Infrastructure, you will lead a high-impact portfolio, ensuring a strategic approach to project and corporate communication functions. You will foster collaboration between teams to enhance clarity, consistency, and engagement across complex infrastructure projects.

You will partner with key stakeholders—including the Ministry of Health (MoH), Minister Offices, and industry stakeholders—while overseeing corporate communications, digital engagement, project communication, industry engagement, government relations, media and community consultation. Working closely with Executive Directors, you will develop and implement strategies that strengthen Health Infrastructure’s corporate identity, enhance digital outreach, promote transparency, and drive stakeholder confidence in the successful delivery of major capital works programs.

The Director of Communications and Engagement leads HI’s communications and engagement portfolio, providing strategic oversight of corporate and project communications functions. The role ensures a coordinated and strategic approach to all communications, fostering collaboration between teams to enhance clarity, consistency, and impact across complex infrastructure projects. The Director partners with key external stakeholders, including the Ministry of Health (MoH), the Minister’s Office, and industry bodies, while also overseeing corporate communications, digital engagement, project communication, industry engagement, and community consultation. Working closely with Executive Directors, the role ensures communication strategies effectively support the delivery of health infrastructure projects, strengthen HI’s corporate identity, enhance digital outreach, promote transparency, and drive stakeholder confidence in the planning and delivery of major capital works programs.

This is a full time ongoing permanent position. Remuneration will be determined with the successful candidate.

Please note that as Health Infrastructure is an organisation of NSW Health, the successful applicant must reside in NSW or be willing to relocate if appointed.

This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.
