About the opportunity

As the Manager of Information Systems, you will be playing various roles:

You will be at the forefront of strategic planning, development, and adoption of cutting-edge information tools to assist our business. Your mission will be to ensure these tools are not only fit for purpose and efficient but also compliant with NSW Government regulations. You'll play a key role in managing information and business records that drives data-driven decision-making.

In this dynamic role, you will have the exciting opportunity in developing technical solutions for the business by leveraging the Microsoft solutions stack including Microsoft 365, Power Platform and AI solutions in the Azure stack. You will also lead modern solution development projects as demands from business teams including an implementation of a records management solution. Using your wider range of knowledge in Microsoft 365, Entra and compliance capabilities, you will work a technical support to both ICT teams and business citizen developers.  You will also work as key ICT contact for e-discovery including GIPA and Standing Order 52.

This role will also involve establishing programs to drive Microsoft 365 technology adoptions in business teams; you will be providing solution and support to a wider range of business users from Strategy and Operation to Capital Projects all the way across to our external project management partners.

In this dynamic role, you will also manage vendor relationships, ensuring we partner with the best in the industry.

This is a full time, fixed term role for a period of two years. Remuneration will be determined with the successful candidate.

Please note that as Health Infrastructure is an organisation of NSW Health, the successful applicant must reside in NSW or be willing to relocate if appointed.

This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months. 

About you

You will be a confident, open and friendly communicator who can solve complex business challenges leveraging the right mix of people, process and technology. You will be versed in contemporary and emerging technologies and be able to lead creative ways to strategically deliver the right mix of those into our organisation.

We are seeking someone who is detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment. You will be a guru in Microsoft 365 and Power Platform and have proficiency over many years managing corporate information and records. You will have successfully implemented info systems esp. AvePoint Opus in an organisation with experience in a NSW Government agency highly advantageous.
