- Sound experience in providing a range of customer-focused technical and specialist library/information services, preferably in a health, special or government environment, including frontline service delivery and content management.
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills, with experience providing proactive client-focused services and ability to negotiate service delivery and timeframes with clients, suppliers, vendors etc.
- Sound problem-solving skills and forward thinking approach including the ability to analyse and interpret information, use strong written communication to prepare correspondence/reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
- Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise competing demands and achieve results with a customer focused approach.
- Proven engagement, collaboration, communication, negotiation and customer service skills with the capability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Proven capacity to contribute to library and records initiatives and support implementation through teamwork and collaboration.
- Advanced computer skills including MS Office, library management systems, online databases, electronic content management, web services, and document supply services.
