  1. Tertiary education to postgraduate (Master's or above) level with demonstrated knowledge and experience in health and or mental health
  2. Demonstrated experience in the design, delivery and evaluation of mental health education with demonstrated experience and skills in program/course/ workshop design, delivery and evaluation as well as demonstrated high level of organisational, project development and management skills including a capacity for prioritising and synthesising complex information from a variety of sources to inform and/or provide innovative and creative strategic direction.
  3. Demonstrated ability in program project management combined with the demonstrated ability to work autonomously and with the capacity to contribute positively to a broader project team and manage project contracted staff workflows.
  4. Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills, with experience in curriculum preparation and evaluation and in the preparation, evaluation and critical review of literature research publications/reports within the area(s) of specialisation (Older Persons Mental Health).
  5. A strong understanding of current policies, frameworks and issues in health and or mental health with the capacity to identify strategic implications which will have a bearing on course development, design and delivery.
  6. Demonstrated stakeholder management skills, reflected in the ability to initiate, manage and sustain networks with a broad range of individuals/ organisations
  7. Demonstrated commitment to and evidence of maintaining currency with changes that affect work practices and to ongoing training and development
During the selection process candidates may be required to undergo additional assessments in determining their sustainability for the role. Candidates will need to agree to a National Police Check.
