Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination

 

This is a NSW Health Category A position. All Category A applicants must read, understand and agree to comply with Policy Directive PD2011_005 Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specified Diseases. Preferred applicants must provide evidence of protection against specified diseases prior to appointment and medical practitioner costs to determine protection is covered by the applicant.

 

Preferred applicants must also participate in a Pre-Employment Health Assessment (PEHA) prior to appointment.

What you'll be doing

Responsible for maintaining a high degree of cleanliness, patient care and patient flow to support the effective and efficient functioning of the health service .

  • Ability to priotize busy workload and to complete cleaning of theatre in timeframe and to cleaning policy standards.
  • Understanding of and commitment to the principles of confidentiality
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and agents
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work shift work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Previous experience in Wardsperson, cleaning and Patient care duties
