Patient Transport Officer - Patient Transport Service(North Ryde, Prestons and Regents Park)

• Ability and willingness to undertake minor motor vehicle maintenance; including maintaining log sheets, checking of oil, water, break fluids, tyre pressure and wear, cleaning/washing, etc.
• Ability to consistently maintain a professional manner and presentation.
• Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a customer service focused environment
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and to participate as an effective team member.
• Demonstrate an understanding of manual handling techniques combined with proven ability to perform work of a physical nature including loading/unloading and manoeuvring patients around, on/off stretchers and in/out of wheelchairs.
• Possess a current senior first aid certificate.
• Possess an unrestricted NSW Manual Light Rigid Driver Licence prior to commencing employment and, without incurring more than six demerit points in the last three years or a licence suspension/cancellation in the last two years.
